Ingredients
- 200 ml Milk (Use part of it cold to mix with the cornstarch; heat the rest.)
- 10 квадратиків Dark chocolate
- 1 ст. ложка Cornstarch (Heaping.)
- Sugar (To taste.)
- Salt (A small amount, to taste.)
- Marshmallows (For decoration.)
Steps
- 1
Pour off some of the milk and keep it cold for the cornstarch mixture. Heat the remaining milk on the stove.
- 2
Add 10 squares of dark chocolate, the sugar, and a little salt to the hot milk. Stir until the chocolate has melted.
- 3
Add the cornstarch to the cold milk and stir well until smooth and free of lumps.
- 4
Pour the milk and cornstarch mixture into the hot milk with the chocolate.
- 5
Stir the mixture constantly on the stove so the cornstarch does not stick to the bottom and the chocolate thickens.
- 6
Pour the hot chocolate into cups and garnish with marshmallows.
Notes
The source does not specify the exact amounts of sugar, salt, or marshmallows. It also does not specify how to divide the 200 ml of milk between the hot and cold portions; use part of the milk cold to dissolve the cornstarch and heat the rest.
