- 8 oz Jumbo lump crab meat (Described as one 8 oz cup)
- 0.5 lb Shrimp
- 4 oz Cream cheese
- 2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice (Fresh-squeezed)
- 0.25 cup Parsley (Chopped; additional fresh parsley is specified for topping, amount unstated)
- 2 tbsp Green onions
- 4 Garlic (Cloves, minced)
- 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning (For seasoning the salmon)
- 1 tsp Ground cardamom
- 1 tsp Badia Complete seasoning (Brand named in source)
- 1 tsp Adobo seasoning
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 2 tsp Paprika (Separated: 1 tsp for cooking the garlic and 1 tsp for the stuffing)
- 0.25 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese (Spelling normalized from “mozarella”)
- 2 tbsp Grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt (To taste; used to season shrimp and salmon)
- Black pepper (To taste; used to season shrimp and salmon)
- 2 tbsp Butter (One tablespoon for the shrimp pan and one tablespoon placed on the salmon)
- Fresh parsley (For topping; amount not specified)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Mince the garlic and chop the parsley and green onions.
- 2
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then set it aside.
- 3
Set a pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Let the butter melt.
- 4
Add the minced garlic and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Cook for about 30 seconds, stirring so the garlic does not burn.
- 5
Add the shrimp and par-cook for about 3 minutes, or until browned. Remove it from the pan and set it aside.
- 6
In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, chopped parsley, green onions, and lemon juice. Mix gently to soften the cream cheese.
- 7
Add the crab meat, cooked shrimp, mozzarella, Parmesan, and all the seasonings except Old Bay. Mix gently until combined; do not overmix.
- 8
In an oven-safe pan, season both salmon filets with salt, pepper, and Old Bay.
- 9
Spread the stuffing from corner to corner over one salmon filet, reserving some stuffing for the mid-cook topping.
- 10
Place the second salmon filet on top. Put 1 tablespoon of butter on the salmon.
- 11
Bake for 20 minutes.
- 12
Remove the salmon from the oven and place some of the reserved stuffing on top.
- 13
Broil for 5 minutes.
- 14
Top with fresh parsley. Serve with vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes, as desired.
Notes
The source gives 2 salmon filets at 16 oz each, which totals 32 oz. The amount of parsley reserved for topping is unspecified. Broiler temperature and distance from the heat are not stated.
