Ingredients

  • 6 oz Salmon fillet (Skin-on or skinless, as preferred)
  • 1 cup Cooked white rice (Warm)
  • 0.5 Avocado (Sliced or cubed)
  • 0.25 cup Cucumber (Sliced)
  • 2 Radishes (Thinly sliced)
  • 0.25 cup Edamame (Shelled)
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce (For drizzling)
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha mayo (Optional garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (For garnish)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil (For searing salmon)

Steps

  1. 1

Prepare the base by placing the warm cooked white rice into a serving bowl.

  2. 2

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper, then sear until cooked to your desired level of doneness (about 3-4 minutes per side for medium).

  3. 3

Once the salmon is cooked, place it on top of the rice in the bowl.

  4. 4

Arrange the sliced avocado, cucumber, radishes, and shelled edamame around the salmon.

  5. 5

Drizzle the bowl with soy sauce and sriracha mayo.

  6. 6

Garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

This recipe is inspired by the viral salmon rice bowl trend. You can customize the vegetables based on what you have on hand, such as adding shredded carrots or seaweed snacks.
