Ingredients

  • 1 lb Salmon, skin removed (Cut into bite-sized cubes; amount estimated because the source gives no quantity.)
  • Chicken bouillon (To taste)
  • Black pepper (To taste)
  • Paprika (For the salmon, to taste)
  • All-purpose seasoning (To taste; ingredients unspecified)
  • Onion powder (To taste)
  • Garlic powder (To taste)
  • Chili powder (For the salmon, to taste; adjust to preferred spice level)
  • Suya spice (Optional; amount to taste, ingredients unspecified)
  • Oil (For seasoning/coating the salmon; amount unspecified)
  • 0.333 cup Honey
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Paprika (For the sauce, to taste)
  • Chili powder (For the sauce, to taste)
  • Soy sauce (To taste)
  • Rice vinegar (To taste)
  • Lemon or lime juice (A squeeze; use lemon or lime)
  • Minced garlic (Optional, for a garlicky twist; amount unspecified)
  • Parsley flakes or chopped spring onions (For garnish; use either option, amount unspecified)

Steps

  1. 1

Remove the skin from the salmon and cut it into bite-sized cubes.

  2. 2

Season the salmon with chicken bouillon, black pepper, paprika, all-purpose seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, optional suya spice, and oil. Toss until the pieces are evenly coated.

  3. 3

Arrange the salmon bites in the air fryer and cook at 375°F (190°C) for 11–12 minutes, or until cooked through.

  4. 4

While the salmon cooks, melt the butter in a pan over medium-low heat.

  5. 5

Add the honey, paprika, chili powder, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and a squeeze of lemon or lime juice. Add minced garlic if desired.

  6. 6

Stir the sauce and let it simmer gently until it begins to thicken. Watch it closely so the honey does not burn.

  7. 7

Add the cooked salmon bites to the pan and toss until every piece is coated in the sauce.

  8. 8

Finish with parsley flakes or chopped spring onions. Serve with rice, potatoes, or another accompaniment of your choice.

Notes

The source does not specify quantities for the salmon, seasonings, oil, sauce ingredients listed to taste, or garnish; salmon quantity and serving estimate are approximations. The source does not state a garnish quantity. It recommends citrus to balance the honey and adjusting chili powder to taste.
