Ingredients
- 0.75 cup salted butter (softened)
- 0.75 cup packed brown sugar
- 0.25 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 0.5 tsp baking soda
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 10 Oreos (roughly chopped; leave some pieces for topping)
- white chocolate (measure with your heart)
Steps
- 1
Cream the softened salted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together for 2–3 minutes, until the mixture is smooth and slightly fluffy.
- 2
Add the egg and vanilla, and mix until fully combined.
- 3
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
- 4
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture just until combined. Do not overmix.
- 5
Chop the Oreos into small chunks, leaving some pieces aside for topping.
- 6
Fold the chopped Oreos and white chocolate into the dough.
- 7
Scoop the dough into 8 portions and shape each portion into a tall mound. Flatten the top slightly while keeping the mound tall. Top with the reserved Oreo pieces.
- 8
Bake at 375°F for 11–14 minutes, until the edges are set and the centers are still soft. Baking time may vary.
- 9
Let the cookies cool so they can set before serving.
Notes
The source does not specify the amount of white chocolate. Baking time may vary; the cookies should have set edges and soft centers when removed from the oven.
