- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Red chili flakes
- 1 cup Lettuce (Diced)
- 1 Tomato (Large; thinly sliced)
- 1 Red onion (Large, washed and thinly sliced)
- 0.5 cup Pickled jalapeño and cucumbers
- 5 Cheddar cheese slices (5–6 slices specified; quantity set to 5 for the lower end of the stated range)
- 2 White onions (2–3 onions specified; caramelized; quantity set to 2 for the lower end of the stated range)
- 1 cup Nacho-flavored tortilla chips
- 5 Extra-large tortilla wraps (5–6 wraps specified; quantity set to 5 for the lower end of the stated range)
- 5 Mini tortilla wraps (5–6 wraps specified; quantity set to 5 for the lower end of the stated range)
Steps
- 1
Form the minced ground beef into patties and season them with salt.
- 2
Heat oil in a skillet and fry the beef patties until cooked to the desired doneness, about 4 minutes per side. Set the cooked patties aside.
- 3
In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, diced pickled jalapeño and relish, minced garlic, chopped red onion, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and red chili flakes.
- 4
Refrigerate the cheeseburger sauce until ready to use.
- 5
Lay one large tortilla wrap on a flat surface and place a cooked beef patty in the center.
- 6
Top the patty with diced lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced red onion, pickled jalapeño and cucumbers, cheddar cheese, and caramelized white onions.
- 7
Drizzle the cheeseburger sauce over the toppings.
- 8
Sprinkle the nacho-flavored tortilla chips over the toppings.
- 9
Place a mini tortilla wrap in the center on top of the filling.
- 10
Fold the edges of the large tortilla toward the center, creating 3–4 pleats on each side.
- 11
Carefully invert the crunch wrap so the pleats are on the bottom, securing the filling inside.
- 12
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the crunch wrap seam-side down and cook for 3 minutes, or until golden.
- 13
Flip the crunch wrap and cook the other side for an additional 3 minutes, until golden.
Notes
The source lists ranges of 5–6 cheddar slices, 2–3 white onions, and 5–6 of each tortilla size. The ingredient quantities use the lower end of each range. The source states that the white onions are caramelized but does not provide a caramelization method or timing.
