Ingredients
- 200 g Dark chocolate (Candyland You dark chocolate)
- 115 g Unsalted butter (Makhan)
- 3 Eggs
- 200 g Caster sugar (Bareek cheeni)
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- 75 g All-purpose flour (Maida)
- 0.25 cup Cocoa powder
- 0.25 tsp Iodized Himalayan pink salt
- Dark chocolate chunks (Candyland You dark chocolate, 1–2 bars; amount estimated at approximately 50 g)
- Flaky sea salt (As required, for garnish)
Steps
- 1
Place the dark chocolate and unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, then mix until completely combined and smooth.
- 2
In a separate bowl, add the eggs, caster sugar, and vanilla essence. Beat for 4–5 minutes, or until the mixture is fluffy.
- 3
Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the beaten egg mixture. Whisk well until combined.
- 4
Place a sifter over a bowl and add the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and pink salt. Sift the dry ingredients, then whisk them well to combine.
- 5
Add the dark chocolate chunks and mix well so they are distributed through the batter.
- 6
Transfer the batter to a greased and baking-paper-lined 7-by-7-inch baking pan. Use a spatula to spread and level the batter. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes to help create a shiny top.
- 7
Place the pan in a preheated oven and bake at 170°C for 20–25 minutes.
- 8
Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool completely in the pan.
- 9
Remove the cooled brownie slab from the pan and cut it into pieces of the desired size.
- 10
Garnish with flaky sea salt and serve.
Notes
The source does not specify the oven preheating time, brownie doneness cue, or exact amount of chocolate chunks and flaky salt. The chocolate-chunk weight and nutrition are approximate because the source gives only a 1–2 bar range.
