Ingredients
- 2 Eggs (boiled to preference)
- 2 tbsp Butter (for frying aromatics)
- 0.25 cup Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 clove Garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 0.5 tsp Chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- 2 cup Chicken stock (more if making multiple servings)
- 1 packet Ramen noodles (including the spice packet and spicy sauce)
- 1 ear Corn (cut into rounds)
- 6 Prawns (cleaned and deveined)
- 2 Cheese griller sausages (sliced)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Steps
- 1
Place your eggs in a pot of water and boil until they reach your desired level of doneness. Once cooked, peel and set aside.
- 2
In a large pot or deep skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and fry until fragrant and softened.
- 3
Season the onion and garlic mixture with paprika and chili flakes, stirring lightly to toast the spices.
- 4
Pour in 2 cups of chicken stock. Add the dry spice packet that came with your ramen noodles to the liquid and stir to combine.
- 5
Add the corn rounds to the broth. Cover the pot and allow it to boil on medium heat for about 10 minutes.
- 6
While the broth is simmering, heat a separate pan and lightly fry the prawns and sliced cheese griller sausages until the prawns are pink and cooked through and the sausages are browned.
- 7
In a separate pot of boiling water, cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions until tender. Drain the water.
- 8
To assemble, place the cooked ramen noodles in a serving bowl.
- 9
Dredge the noodles by pouring the prepared buttery broth and corn over them.
- 10
Top the bowl with the boiled eggs, fried sausages, and prawns.
- 11
Drizzle the spicy sauce packet from the ramen over the top.
- 12
Garnish with sesame seeds and fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
The creator suggests pairing this dish with savoy beans. You can adjust the amount of chicken stock if you prefer a soupier ramen or are serving more people.
