  • salt (To taste, for chicken)
  • 1 tsp black pepper (For chicken)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder (For chicken)
  • 1 tsp onion powder (For chicken)
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika powder (For chicken)
  • 1 tsp red chili powder (For chicken)
  • 2 tbsp oil (For marinating the chicken)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (For chicken marinade)
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise (For sauce)
  • 0.333 cup sour cream (For sauce)
  • 0.333 cup buttermilk (For sauce)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (For sauce)
  • salt (To taste, for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder (For sauce)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika powder (For sauce)
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper (For sauce)
  • lavash bread (As needed for wrapping)
  • 1 cup onions (Diced)
  • 1 cup tomatoes (Diced and seeded)
  • 1 cup lettuce (For assembly)
  • French fries (As needed for assembly)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (Optional)
  • oil (For drizzling before toasting the wraps)

Steps

  1. 1

In a large bowl, combine the cubed chicken with the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, red chili powder, oil, and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly so the chicken is evenly coated.

  2. 2

Cover the bowl and marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes. For deeper flavor, refrigerate it for up to overnight.

  3. 3

Heat a pan or grill over medium-high heat.

  4. 4

Cook the marinated chicken for about 5–7 minutes per side, until fully cooked and slightly charred on the outside.

  5. 5

In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, lemon juice, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.

  6. 6

Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed. Chill it until ready to use.

  7. 7

Lay a piece of lavash bread flat on a clean surface and spread a generous amount of sauce over the center.

  8. 8

Add the cooked chicken, diced onions, diced seeded tomatoes, lettuce, and French fries to the center of the lavash.

  9. 9

If using, add the mozzarella cheese, then drizzle a little extra sauce over the filling.

  10. 10

Fold in the sides of the lavash, then roll it tightly like a burrito.

  11. 11

Drizzle some oil over the assembled wrap.

  12. 12

Toast the wrap in a pan for 1–2 minutes on each side, until crispy and sealed.
