Ingredients
- 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
- 2 cups Heavy cream
- 3.5 cloves Garlic (Minced; source specifies 3–4 cloves.)
- 1.75 cups Parmesan cheese (Freshly grated; source specifies 1½–2 cups.)
- 2 tsp Italian herb seasoning
- Salt (To taste.)
- Black pepper (To taste.)
- 1 cup Baby spinach (Packed and chopped.)
- 2 packages Chicken sausage ravioli (Trader Joe's chicken sausage ravioli; each package shown is 9 oz.)
- 1.5 cups Mozzarella cheese (Shredded.)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Use an oven-safe pan for the sauce and baking.
- 2
Add the butter to the oven-safe pan and melt it over medium-low heat.
- 3
Pour in the heavy cream. Bring the butter and cream to a low simmer.
- 4
Add the minced garlic to the simmering cream mixture.
- 5
Slowly incorporate the Parmesan, gently whisking to prevent clumps.
- 6
Turn the heat to low. Add the Italian herb seasoning, salt, pepper, and chopped spinach.
- 7
Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes, until thickened to your liking. If it becomes too thick, add another splash of heavy cream or milk; the source gives no amount for this adjustment.
- 8
Remove the pan from the heat and reserve ½ cup of the sauce.
- 9
Nestle all the ravioli into the sauce. If using two packages, layer some ravioli over others as needed.
- 10
Use the reserved sauce to cover any exposed ravioli, then sprinkle the mozzarella over the top.
- 11
Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
- 12
Serve and enjoy.
Notes
The recipe gives ranges for garlic and Parmesan; midpoint quantities are used here. The source suggests a splash of heavy cream or milk if the sauce is too thick but does not quantify it. Package label shows 9 oz per package. No milk is listed among the measured ingredients.
