- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (For the sauce)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder (For the sauce)

Steps
- 1
Peel the onions and slice them into rings approximately 1 inch thick.
- 2
Separate the onion rings and remove the membranes from inside them. Carefully pat the rings dry if there is any moisture.
- 3
In a bowl, combine the wet-batter flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika powder, and black pepper powder.
- 4
Gradually add the cold water to the wet-batter mixture, stirring until a thick batter forms. Use slightly less or more water as needed to reach the stated thick consistency.
- 5
In a separate bowl, combine the dry-batter flour, cornstarch, dried parsley, salt, garlic powder, black pepper powder, and panko breadcrumbs. Mix well so the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- 6
Dip each onion ring into the wet batter, turning it so it is evenly coated.
- 7
Roll each battered onion ring in the dry mixture, coating it evenly on all sides.
- 8
In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to prepare the sauce.
- 9
Heat the frying oil to 350°F / 175°C.
- 10
Fry the coated onion rings in batches of 3 to 4 at a time for 2 to 3 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- 11
Serve the onion rings hot with the prepared sauce.
