Ingredients
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 0.5 lb rack of pork ribs (Halved)
- 1 cup honey
- 0.5 cup soy sauce
- 10 garlic cloves (Minced)
Steps
- 1
In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder. Rub the spice mixture evenly over all sides of the halved ribs, making sure the seasoning is worked into the meat.
- 2
Add the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to a large slow cooker.
- 3
Transfer the seasoned ribs to the slow cooker and turn them over in the sauce until they are coated.
- 4
Arrange the ribs standing up, with the meatier side down and the meat against the walls of the slow cooker. Keep the bone sides facing inward.
- 5
Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 7–8 hours. At the end of the cooking time, check that the meat is cooked through and tender.
- 6
Remove the ribs from the slow cooker and transfer them to a cutting board.
- 7
Cut between the bones to separate the rack into individual ribs.
- 8
Serve the ribs with additional sauce from the slow cooker as needed. Enjoy.
