Ingredients

  • 0.75 cup browned salted butter (Browned; use warm but not hot)
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • dark chocolate chips (Measure with your heart)
  • Reese’s cups (One for each cookie; extra for topping)
  • dark chocolate squares (For stuffing; one piece per cookie)
  • dark chocolate (Extra, for dipping and drizzling)
  • Reese’s cups (Extra, for topping)

Steps

  1. 1

Whisk the warm, not hot, browned salted butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar in a bowl until glossy.

  2. 2

Add the egg, heavy cream, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.

  3. 3

Fold in the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt just until combined.

  4. 4

Fold in the dark chocolate chips.

  5. 5

Scoop portions of dough and flatten each slightly. Place a dark chocolate square and a Reese’s cup in the center of each portion.

  6. 6

Seal the dough around the filling and shape each portion into a tall, cone-like dough ball to help keep the cookies thick.

  7. 7

Bake at 375°F (190°C) until the edges are golden and the centers remain soft. The source does not specify a baking time.

  8. 8

While the cookies are still warm, shape them to make their edges neat and round.

  9. 9

Let the cookies cool slightly, then top with extra Reese’s cups so they do not melt completely.

  10. 10

Melt extra dark chocolate. Spoon small circles of melted chocolate onto parchment paper, then place the bottoms of the cookies onto the chocolate circles.

  11. 11

Freeze until the chocolate bases are set.

  12. 12

Drizzle with more dark chocolate and serve.

Notes

The source does not specify cookie count, baking duration, amounts for chocolate chips, filling, or toppings, nor the freezer setting time. Yield and timings are estimates; make sure the cookies are only slightly cooled before adding the topping.
