Ingredients

  • 2 lb 80% lean ground beef (Minced)
  • Salt (To taste; for seasoning the beef)
  • Oil (For frying and cooking the crunch wraps)
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp Pickled jalapeño and relish (Diced)
  • 1 tsp Garlic (Freshly minced)
  • 1 tbsp Red onion (Freshly chopped, for the sauce)
  • Salt (To taste; for the sauce)
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 1 cup Lettuce (Diced)
  • 1 large Tomato (Thinly sliced)
  • 1 large Red onion (Washed and thinly sliced)
  • 0.5 cup Pickled jalapeño and cucumbers
  • 5 Cheddar cheese slices (5–6 slices)
  • 2 White onions (2–3 onions, caramelized)
  • 1 cup Nacho-flavored tortilla chips
  • 5 Extra-large tortilla wraps (5–6 wraps)
  • 5 Mini tortilla wraps (5–6 wraps)

Steps

  1. 1

Form the ground beef into patties and season them with salt.

  2. 2

Heat oil in a skillet and fry the patties until cooked to the desired doneness, about 4 minutes per side. Set the cooked patties aside.

  3. 3

In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, diced pickled jalapeño and relish, minced garlic, chopped red onion, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and red chili flakes.

  4. 4

Refrigerate the cheeseburger sauce until ready to use.

  5. 5

Lay one large tortilla wrap on a flat surface and place a cooked beef patty in the center.

  6. 6

Top the patty with the diced lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced red onion, pickled jalapeño and cucumbers, cheddar cheese slices, and caramelized white onions.

  7. 7

Drizzle the cheeseburger sauce over the toppings.

  8. 8

Sprinkle the nacho-flavored tortilla chips over the toppings.

  9. 9

Place one smaller tortilla centered on top of the filling.

  10. 10

Fold the edges of the large tortilla toward the center, creating 3–4 pleats on each side.

  11. 11

Carefully invert the crunch wrap so the pleats are on the bottom, securing the filling inside.

  12. 12

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the crunch wrap seam-side down and cook for 3 minutes, or until golden.

  13. 13

Flip the crunch wrap and cook the other side for an additional 3 minutes, until golden.

Notes

The source does not provide a separate method for caramelizing the white onions; they are listed as already caramelized. Oil quantity is unspecified. The source says 5–6 servings and gives ingredient ranges for several toppings and wraps.
