Ingredients

  • 2 cup cooked rice (white rice, cooked and cooled)
  • 1 cup melted chocolate (semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips or chopped bar)
  • 0.5 cup hot water
  • cocoa powder (for dusting on top)

Steps

  1. 1

Place the cooked rice into a high-speed blender.

  2. 2

Add the melted chocolate and hot water to the blender.

  3. 3

Blend the mixture on high speed until it becomes a perfectly smooth, uniform cream.

  4. 4

Line a small pan or container with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

  5. 5

Pour the chocolate rice cream into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

  6. 6

Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill until the dessert is completely set, approximately 2 hours.

  7. 7

Once set, remove from the pan and finish by dusting cocoa powder over the top before slicing.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can substitute the hot water with hot milk or a dairy-free alternative. Ensure the rice is well-cooked and soft for the smoothest texture.
