Ingredients

  • 1 Rice paper (sheet)
  • 1 Banana (sliced)
  • 2 onzas Dark chocolate (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp Peanut butter (amount to taste)
  • Crushed peanuts (for the filling)
  • Flaky salt (to sprinkle on top)
  • 1 Egg (for the soaking liquid)
  • 5 tbsp Plant-based milk (almond, soy, or oat milk)
  • 1 tbsp Agave syrup
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract

Steps

  1. 1

In a deep plate or wide container, whisk together the egg, 5 tbsp of plant-based milk, 1 tbsp of agave syrup, and 1 tbsp of vanilla extract until well combined.

  2. 2

Dip the rice paper sheet into the liquid mixture for just a few seconds. Do not wait for it to fully soften, or it will become too difficult to handle.

  3. 3

Place the hydrated sheet on a clean surface and fold the sides inward to form a more resistant base.

  4. 4

Place the banana slices, peanut butter, dark chocolate pieces, and crushed peanuts in the center.

  5. 5

Fold the rice paper into a triangle shape, making sure to seal the edges tightly so the filling does not leak out during cooking.

  6. 6

Sprinkle a bit of flaky salt on top of the triangle.

  7. 7

Place the triangle in the air fryer and cook at 190 degrees for 12-13 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

  8. 8

If you prefer using the oven, preheat it and bake the triangles for 17-20 minutes at the same temperature.

Notes

If the rice paper turns out chewy, ensure the air fryer is well preheated and do not crowd the pieces. To prevent sticking, you can use lightly greased parchment paper.
