Ingredients

  • 15 g Instant coffee powder (The author recommends Nescafé coffee.)
  • 150 g Ice cubes
  • 90 g Sugar
  • 50 g Cold water (For the initial whipping.)
  • 100 g Cold water (Add in a thin stream while continuously whipping.)
  • Cocoa powder (For sprinkling; quantity to taste.)

Steps

  1. 1

Place the instant coffee, ice cubes, sugar, and 50 g of cold water in a blender or Thermomix.

  2. 2

Blend at maximum speed. When the mixture begins to foam and doubles in volume, proceed to the next step.

Without stopping the blender, pour in 100 g of cold water in a thin stream.

  4. 4

Continue whipping for at least 10 minutes, until the mixture doubles or even triples in volume.

  5. 5

Pour the coffee cloud into cups and sprinkle with cocoa powder.

  6. 6

Serve and enjoy the drink immediately after preparing it.

Notes

The source does not specify the exact number of servings; the yield is estimated at approximately 2 servings. A powerful blender or Thermomix is required for whipping. The drink is recommended for hot weather.
