Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Instant Coffee (Adjust based on desired strength)
  • 2 tbsp Honey (Used as a sweetener)
  • 2 tbsp Hot Water (To dissolve the coffee and honey)
  • 1 cup Cold Milk (Chilled)
  • Ice Cubes (As needed)

Steps

  1. 1

In a small bowl or jar, combine the instant coffee, honey, and hot water.

  2. 2

Whisk or froth the mixture vigorously for 4-5 minutes until it becomes thick, creamy, and light in color.

  3. 3

To serve, add ice cubes to a tall glass.

  4. 4

Pour the chilled milk into the glass, leaving some room at the top.

  5. 5

Spoon the whipped honey-coffee mixture over the top of the milk.

  6. 6

Stir gently to combine before drinking.

Notes

You can store the whipped coffee mixture in the freezer for 1 to 1.5 weeks. This base can be used for both hot and cold coffee preparations. It provides a restaurant-quality froth at home very easily.
