- 1 tsp smoked paprika powder (for sauce)
- 0.5 tsp turmeric powder (for sauce)
- 0.5 tsp black pepper (for sauce)
- 1 tsp garam masala (for sauce)

- 1 cup unsweetened heavy whipping cream
- 1 tbsp parsley (chopped, for sauce)

- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garlic butter)
- salt (a pinch, for garlic butter)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (for assembly)
- 1 loaf bread (halved lengthwise)
Steps
- 1
In a medium bowl, combine the chicken breast with salt, coriander powder, red chili powder, smoked paprika, turmeric, black pepper, garam masala, Greek yogurt, oil, and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly so the chicken is evenly coated. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Heat some oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- 3
Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
- 4
Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet, slice it, and set it aside.
- 5
In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Add the chopped onion and sauté over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes, until soft and lightly golden.
- 6
Add the ginger garlic paste and cook for 30 seconds.
- 7
Add the tomato paste and cook for 1–2 minutes.
- 8
Add the sauce salt, coriander powder, red chili powder, smoked paprika, turmeric, black pepper, and garam masala. Cook for another minute.
- 9
Pour in the heavy cream and stir until the sauce is smooth. Simmer gently for 6–7 minutes, until thickened.
- 10
Add the butter and stir until it has melted into the sauce.
- 11
In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt until combined.
- 12
Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C).
- 13
Spread the garlic butter over the cut sides of the halved loaf of bread.
- 14
Spoon the butter chicken sauce mixture over the bread.
- 15
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and sliced chicken pieces over the bread.
- 16
Add more butter chicken sauce on top.
- 17
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
- 18
Slice the garlic bread and serve.
Notes
The source does not specify the exact amount of cooking oil, the bread type or loaf size, or how the sauce is divided between the base and topping. Use enough oil to cook the chicken and sauté the onion. The chicken should be fully cooked before assembly.
