Ingredients
- 397 g sweetened condensed milk (1 can; use chilled or at room temperature)
- 200 ml heavy cream (Approximately 30–35% fat)
- 360 ml evaporated milk (1 can)
- 250 ml Irish whiskey or smooth whiskey (Adjust to taste; do not substitute with very smoky whiskey if you want a classic flavor)
- 2 tsp instant coffee (Dissolve directly into the mixture)
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (Sifted to prevent lumps)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- fine salt (A pinch, optional, to balance the sweetness)
Steps
- 1
Chill the condensed milk, cream, and evaporated milk if possible. Have a blender or tall container and a clean, dry glass bottle with an airtight lid ready.
- 2
Add the condensed milk, heavy cream, and evaporated milk to the blender. Blend on low speed for 20–30 seconds, just until combined; avoid incorporating too much air.
- 3
Add the whiskey, instant coffee, sifted cocoa, vanilla, and pinch of salt. Blend again for 15–20 seconds, until completely smooth and light brown in color.
- 4
Taste a small amount and adjust the flavor if desired: add a little more whiskey to increase the intensity or a little more cream or evaporated milk to mellow it. Blend briefly after any adjustment.
- 5
Pour the liqueur into a clean glass bottle and seal it tightly. If there are bubbles or foam, let it rest for a few minutes and shake gently.
- 6
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours so it chills and the flavors meld. Shake the bottle before serving.
- 7
Serve well chilled, on its own, over ice, or with coffee and desserts. Keep the bottle refrigerated and do not leave it at room temperature for extended periods.
Notes
The recipe was reconstructed from the title, as the provided description did not include visible quantities or instructions. Store the liqueur refrigerated and ideally use it within 1–2 weeks; discard it if it develops an unusual smell, flavor, or texture. This is not an alcohol-free beverage.
