Beat with an electric beater for 4–5 minutes, until the mixture becomes thick and fluffy.

  3. 3

Add the whole milk, optional salt, ground cardamom, saffron threads, and crushed nuts.

  4. 4

Mix for 1 more minute, until the ingredients are evenly combined.

  5. 5

  6. 6

Freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight.

  7. 7

Garnish with almonds and pistachios before serving.

Notes

The OCR does not provide a quantity for the whole milk. The condensed milk measurement is partially obscured but appears to read 1 can (14 oz). The source describes this as a substitute for traditionally prepared kulfi.
