Ingredients

  • 400 g Carrots (Long and narrow, peeled)
  • 23 ml Extra-virgin olive oil (20 ml for seasoning plus 3 ml to drizzle at the end)
  • Sweet paprika, pepper, garlic, and chili flakes (To taste)
  • 2 g Salt
  • Water (A splash)
  • 50 g Grated Parmesan

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat the convection oven to 200 °C and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Cut each carrot in half lengthwise, then divide each half into four, yielding 8 sticks per carrot.

  3. 3

In a bowl, mix the 20 ml of extra-virgin olive oil, sweet paprika, pepper, garlic, chili flakes, salt, and a splash of water.

  4. 4

Add the carrot sticks to the bowl and toss them with your hands, distributing the seasoning evenly over the entire surface.

  5. 5

Coat each stick in the grated Parmesan, covering it as evenly as possible.

  6. 6

Arrange the sticks separately on the parchment paper without overlapping them so they can become crispy.

  7. 7

Drizzle the remaining 3 ml of extra-virgin olive oil over the sticks.

  8. 8

Bake in a convection oven at 200 °C for 20 minutes.
