Ingredients

  • 370 ml milk
  • 2 eggs (whole)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 10 g dry yeast
  • 3.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
  • butter or oil (for greasing the pan)

Steps

  1. 1

In a blender, add 370 milliliters of milk, 2 whole eggs, and 3 tablespoons of sugar.

  2. 2

Blend the mixture well until fully combined.

  3. 3

Pour the blended liquid into a large mixing bowl.

  4. 4

Add 10 grams of dry yeast to the bowl and mix to activate it.

  5. 5

Gradually add 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour to the liquid mixture.

  6. 6

Mix until the dough is smooth, then gently knead until the dough becomes soft.

  7. 7

Transfer the dough to a greased and floured baking pan.

  8. 8

Press the dough into the pan to fit, cover it, and let it rest for 20 minutes.

  9. 9

Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).

  10. 10

Brush the top of the rested dough with egg yolk.

  11. 11

Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes until fluffy and golden.

  12. 12

    Slice and serve warm.

Notes

The recipe uses a blender to emulsify the wet ingredients before mixing with flour, which contributes to the soft texture. Ensure the milk is slightly warm (not hot) to help activate the yeast properly.
