Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup Rolled oats
  • 0.75 cup Almond flour (The method refers to this as almond meal.)
  • 1.75 cup Greek or vanilla yogurt (Use Greek yogurt or vanilla yogurt.)
  • 0.25 cup Milk of choice
  • 0.25 cup Maple syrup (For the baked oats; additional maple syrup may be used to serve.)
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1.5 tsp Baking powder
  • 0.25 cup Sliced almonds (For topping.)
  • Maple syrup (Optional, for serving.)
  • Icing sugar (Optional, for serving; use instead of maple syrup if desired.)
  • Extra yogurt (Optional, for serving.)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan).

  2. 2

Add the yogurt, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the baking dish. Mix until smooth.

  3. 3

Add the rolled oats, almond flour, and baking powder. Stir until fully combined.

  4. 4

Smooth the surface of the mixture, then sprinkle the sliced almonds evenly over the top.

  5. 5

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

  6. 6

Uncover the dish and bake for a further 10 minutes, or until the oats are golden and just set in the centre.

  7. 7

Let the baked oats cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with maple syrup or top with extra yogurt, if desired; icing sugar may also be used to serve.
