Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 0.5 cup long-grain rice (Rinsed)
  • 3.5 cup beef broth (Chicken broth may also be used, according to the video transcript)
  • 0.25 cup pepperoncini pepper brine
  • 1 packet au jus gravy seasoning
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • black pepper (To taste)
  • 5 pepperoncini peppers (Sliced; use more or less depending on desired spice level)

Steps

  1. 1

Heat a skillet and brown the ground beef until it is no longer pink and is fully cooked. Drain off any excess grease.

  2. 2

Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt.

  3. 3

Add the rinsed long-grain rice. Toast it for a few minutes, stirring as it cooks.

  4. 4

Add the au jus gravy seasoning, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, beef broth, pepperoncini brine, and sliced pepperoncini peppers.

  5. 5

Stir everything together and bring the mixture to a boil.

  6. 6

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet.

  7. 7

Cook covered for 20 minutes, or until the rice is done and no longer crunchy.

  8. 8

Serve the skillet hot. Add extra sliced pepperoncini peppers to individual bowls if desired.

Notes

The source specifies beef broth; the video transcript says chicken broth may also be used. Extra pepperoncini peppers can be added when serving. The source does not specify an exact skillet size or cooking temperature beyond reducing the heat to low.
