Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef, 80% lean and 20% fat
- mini taco tortillas (8–10 mini tacos)
- 10 cheddar cheese slices (One slice per taco)
- 1 cup lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup pickles
- salt (To taste; additional pinch is sprinkled over the beef)
- 1 cup mayonnaise (For the Big Mac sauce)
- 3 tbsp ketchup (For the Big Mac sauce)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (For the Big Mac sauce)
- 2 tbsp yellow onion, diced (For the Big Mac sauce)
- 1 tbsp relish, chopped (For the Big Mac sauce)
- 1 tbsp white vinegar (For the Big Mac sauce)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder (For the Big Mac sauce)
- 1 tsp black pepper (For the Big Mac sauce)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (For the Big Mac sauce)
- oil (A small amount for heating the skillet)
Steps
- 1
Prepare the Big Mac sauce by placing the mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, diced yellow onion, salt, chopped relish, white vinegar, garlic powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
- 2
Mix the sauce ingredients together until well combined.
- 3
Refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 4
Heat a skillet over high heat and add a small amount of oil.
- 5
Place 2–3 tablespoons of ground beef in the center of each mini taco tortilla.
- 6
Gently press the ground beef onto each tortilla to create an even layer.
- 7
Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the ground beef on each tortilla.
- 8
Place the tacos meat-side down in the hot skillet, then immediately lower the heat to medium-low.
- 9
Cook for 4–5 minutes, or until the ground beef is cooked through. If the skillet is large enough, cook two tacos at a time.
- 10
Flip the tacos and cook the other side until crispy and golden.
- 11
Top each taco with a slice of cheddar cheese, chopped lettuce, and pickles.
- 12
Drizzle the chilled Big Mac sauce over each taco.
- 13
Serve the Big Mac tacos immediately.
Notes
The source does not specify the amount of oil, skillet size, or an exact internal temperature for the beef. Use enough oil to lightly coat the skillet, and ensure the ground beef is fully cooked through.
