Ingredients

  • 1 lata peaches in syrup (chopped into small cubes)
  • 400 g sweetened condensed milk (one standard can)
  • 500 ml whipped cream (previously whipped or ready to use)
  • 200 g tea biscuits (Maria-style or similar, for the base)

Steps

  1. 1

Chop the peaches in syrup into small cubes and set aside some of the syrup.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk with the whipped cream until smooth.

  3. 3

Fold the chopped peaches into the creamy mixture and stir gently.

  4. 4

In a dish or baking pan, place a layer of tea biscuits (they may be lightly moistened with the peach syrup).

  5. 5

Pour the creamy peach mixture over the biscuit base, spreading it evenly.

  6. 6

Place the dessert in the refrigerator and chill for a minimum of 4 hours before serving, until set.

Notes

For the best results, make sure the whipped cream is well chilled before mixing. You can decorate the top with more peach pieces or crushed biscuits.
