Ingredients

  • 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • garlic (Minced; amount not specified for the seasoned beef)
  • salt (To taste)
  • black pepper (To taste)
  • caramelized onions (Optional add-in)
  • bacon (Optional add-in)
  • mild cheddar (Cut into large cubes)
  • shredded mozzarella (For the filling)
  • 1 can Pillsbury Original Flaky Layers biscuit dough
  • 1 egg (Whisked, for egg wash)
  • Parmesan (Freshly grated; used before and after baking)
  • 3 tbsp salted butter (Melted, for garlic butter)
  • 2 cloves garlic (Finely minced, for garlic butter)
  • parsley (Dried or fresh; amount not specified)

Steps

  1. 1

Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir for 1 minute, then set the seasoned beef aside.

  2. 2

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  3. 3

Separate the biscuit dough. Stretch each biscuit into a circle approximately 5 inches wide.

  4. 4

Place about 2 spoonfuls of the seasoned beef in the center of each dough circle. Add some shredded mozzarella and one cube of mild cheddar.

  5. 5

Fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal. Pull and shape the filled dough into a tight ball. Let the shaped bombs rest for 5 minutes.

  6. 6

Arrange the filled dough balls seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  7. 7

Brush a thin layer of whisked egg over each dough ball, then sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan.

  8. 8

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes, until the biscuit dough is deeply golden.

  9. 9

Combine the melted salted butter, finely minced garlic, and dried or fresh parsley to make the garlic butter.

  10. 10

Brush the baked cheeseburger bombs with the garlic butter and sprinkle with more Parmesan. Serve immediately.

Notes

The source does not specify the amount of minced garlic used in the beef, the quantities of cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, or parsley, or the number of biscuits in the can. Optional caramelized onions and bacon may be added. The transcript says the recipe takes under 15 minutes to make, but the written instructions specify a 5-minute rest and 15–18-minute bake.
