Ingredients

  • 15 g Fresh parsley (Finely chopped)
  • 3 dientes Garlic (Finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Paprika
  • 2 tbsp Ground black pepper
  • 2 Lemons (Squeezed; use the juice)
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 White fish fillets (Approximately 150 g per fillet; pat them very dry before marinating)
  • 1 tbsp Butter (For browning the fillets)

Steps

  1. 1

Finely chop the parsley and garlic. Place them in a small bowl.

  2. 2

Add the paprika and black pepper to the bowl and mix well with the parsley and garlic.

  3. 3

Squeeze the two lemons over the mixture and add the olive oil. Stir until you have a uniform aromatic oil.

  4. 4

Pat the fish fillets very dry with paper towels. This helps them brown instead of releasing too much water into the pan.

  5. 5

Place the fillets in a dish and massage both sides with the oil, lemon, and spice mixture, making sure they are well coated.

  6. 6

Cover the dish and let the fish rest for a minimum of 20 minutes so it can absorb the flavors.

  7. 7

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt without allowing it to burn.

  8. 8

Add the marinated fillets to the skillet. Brown them on both sides until opaque in the center, fully cooked, and juicy; the cooking time will depend on the thickness, approximately 3-5 minutes per side.

  9. 9

Serve immediately. You can serve the fish with brown rice, as suggested by the author.
