Ingredients

  • Rice paper (Amount not specified)
  • 200 g Raw shrimp (Finely minced)
  • 100 g Extra-lean ground beef
  • 0.5 cup Carrots (Diced)
  • 0.5 cup Zucchini
  • 0.5 Green onions (Chopped)
  • 1 tsp Garlic (Minced)
  • 0.5 tsp Ginger (Minced)
  • 20 ml Oyster sauce
  • Salt (To taste)
  • White pepper (To taste)
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce (For sesame oil soy sauce)
  • 0.5 tsp Sesame oil (For sesame oil soy sauce)
  • Chili flakes (A pinch; gochugaru may be used instead)
  • Water (For dipping the rice paper)
  • Cooking spray (Spray lightly; amount not specified)

Steps

  1. 1

Finely mince the raw shrimp and place it in a bowl with the ground beef, carrots, zucchini, green onions, garlic, ginger, oyster sauce, salt, and white pepper.

  2. 2

Mix the filling well, then divide it into 4 equal portions.

  3. 3

Pour water onto a plate. Dip a sheet of rice paper in the water and place it on a flat surface.

  4. 4

Place one quarter of the filling on the rice paper and shape it into a small, flat rectangle. Fold the rice paper flaps over the filling as shown in the video.

  5. 5

Repeat the dipping, filling, shaping, and folding with the remaining portions.

  6. 6

Lightly spray the dumplings with cooking spray.

  7. 7

    Air-fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes.

  8. 8

Optionally increase the heat toward the end of cooking to develop a golden, crispy exterior.

  9. 9

Stir together the soy sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of chili flakes or gochugaru to make the dipping sauce.

  10. 10

Serve the dumplings with the soy sauce and enjoy.
