Ingredients

  • 2 lb 80% lean ground beef (Minced; formed into patties)
  • Salt (To taste, for seasoning the beef)
  • Oil (For frying the patties and cooking the assembled wraps)
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp Pickled jalapeño and relish (Diced)
  • 1 tsp Garlic (Freshly minced)
  • 1 tbsp Red onion (Freshly chopped for the sauce)
  • Salt (To taste, for the sauce)
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 1 cup Lettuce (Diced)
  • 1 Tomato (Large; thinly sliced)
  • 1 Red onion (Large; washed and thinly sliced)
  • 0.5 cup Pickled jalapeños and cucumbers
  • 5 Cheddar cheese slices (The source specifies 5–6 slices; quantity is represented as 5 slices)
  • 2 White onions (The source specifies 2–3 onions; caramelized)
  • 1 cup Nacho-flavored tortilla chips
  • 5 Extra-large tortilla wraps (The source specifies 5–6 wraps; use one large wrap per serving)
  • 5 Mini tortilla wraps (The source specifies 5–6 wraps; use one smaller wrap per serving)

Steps

  1. 1

Form the minced ground beef into patties and season them with salt.

  2. 2

Heat oil in a skillet and fry the patties until cooked to the desired doneness, about 4 minutes per side. Set the cooked patties aside.

  3. 3

Make the cheeseburger sauce by whisking together the mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, diced pickled jalapeño and relish, freshly minced garlic, chopped red onion, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and red chili flakes.

  4. 4

Refrigerate the sauce until it is ready to use.

  5. 5

Lay one extra-large tortilla wrap on a flat surface and place a cooked beef patty in the center.

  6. 6

Top the patty with diced lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced red onion, pickled jalapeños and cucumbers, cheddar cheese, and caramelized white onions.

  7. 7

Drizzle the chilled cheeseburger sauce over the toppings.

  8. 8

Sprinkle the nacho-flavored tortilla chips over the toppings.

  9. 9

Place one mini tortilla wrap centered on top of the filling.

  10. 10

Fold the edges of the large tortilla toward the center, creating 3–4 pleats on each side.

  11. 11

Carefully invert the assembled crunch wrap so the pleats are on the bottom and the filling is secured inside.

  12. 12

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the crunch wrap seam-side down and cook for 3 minutes, or until golden.

  13. 13

Flip the crunch wrap and cook the other side for an additional 3 minutes, until golden.

Notes

The source gives ranges for the number of servings, cheese slices, onions, and tortillas. It does not specify the exact patty size, oil quantity, or the cooking temperature beyond medium heat. Caramelized onions are listed as an ingredient, but their caramelization method is not provided.
