Ingredients
- 2 Hamburger buns (Halved)
- 4 Scottona beef burgers (The source does not specify the weight of each burger; nutritional estimates are based on approximately 100 g each)
- 120 g Provola (Sliced or cut into pieces to distribute over the burgers)
- Develey Maio Bacon sauce (As needed)
- Develey Cheddar sauce (As needed)
- Lettuce (As needed)
- Oil (For greasing the parchment paper)
- 1 noce Butter (Optional, for brushing and glazing; weight not specified)
Steps
- 1
Smash the four scottona beef burgers onto lightly greased parchment paper, forming thin smash burgers.
- 2
Cook the smash burgers in the air fryer at 200 °C for 8 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking. After turning them, remove the parchment paper.
- 3
Alternatively, cook the burgers in a skillet until browned. For oven cooking, cook them at 210 °C for approximately 15 minutes, then turn them.
- 4
Add the provola to the burgers. Finish cooking in the air fryer for another 2 minutes, or in a covered skillet, until the provola has melted. If using the oven, add the provola after turning the burgers and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- 5
Halve the buns and toast them in the air fryer at 200 °C for 2 minutes. Alternatively, toast them in a skillet; for oven cooking, bake them at 220 °C for approximately 5 minutes.
- 6
For each cheeseburger, spread a layer of Maio Bacon sauce on the bottom half of the toasted bun.
- 7
Place two smash burgers with provola, one on top of the other, on the sauced bun base.
- 8
Add the Cheddar sauce, then the lettuce, and top with the other half of the bun.
- 9
If desired, brush the outside of the cheeseburger with a knob of butter to make it glossy. Serve and enjoy immediately.
Notes
The source also indicates skillet and oven cooking as alternatives to the air fryer. The quantities of the two sauces, lettuce, and oil are not specified. The weight of the burgers is not indicated; the nutritional estimate uses approximately 100 g per burger.
