Ingredients
- 2.5 tazas Thick-cut or traditional rolled oats
- 40 g Almonds
- 40 g Walnuts
- 40 g Unsalted peanuts
- 40 g Sunflower seeds
- 30 g Pumpkin seeds
- 2 cda Chia seeds
- 255 g Honey
- 60 g Olive oil
- 1 cdita Cinnamon
- 1 cdita Vanilla extract
- 30 g Shredded coconut (Add when removing the baking sheet from the oven.)
- 50 g Raisins (Add when removing the baking sheet from the oven.)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Spread the oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, and peanuts on a baking sheet.
- 2
Add the vanilla extract, cinnamon, honey, and olive oil. Mix very well and spread the mixture evenly over the baking sheet.
- 3
Bake for 20 minutes in total. Every 5 minutes, remove the baking sheet and stir the granola thoroughly so it browns evenly and does not burn; return it to the oven after each stirring.
- 4
As soon as you remove the baking sheet from the oven, add the shredded coconut and raisins. Mix to combine them using the residual heat.
- 5
Let the granola cool completely on the baking sheet before transferring it to a jar. Do not store it while warm, as the moisture may soften it.
Notes
The total time includes approximately 20 minutes of cooling; let it cool completely before storing to prevent the granola from becoming soft.
