Ingredients

  • 1 kg Peppers (Washed and dried)
  • 1 kg Tomatoes (Finely chopped)
  • 1 baş Garlic (Coarsely chopped)
  • 1 çay bardağı Olive oil (Using the Turkish tea glass measure)
  • 1 tatlı kaşığı Salt
  • 1 tatlı kaşığı Red pepper flakes

Steps

  1. 1

Wash the peppers and dry them completely between a cloth.

  2. 2

Add the olive oil to a pan. Add the peppers and fry until they wilt. You can cover the pan to prevent the oil from splattering.

  3. 3

Add the finely chopped tomatoes, coarsely chopped garlic, salt, and red pepper flakes to the pan; stir.

  4. 4

Cover the pan and cook the mixture for 10 minutes.

  5. 5

Fill the mixture into jars while hot and seal the jars tightly.

  6. 6

Leave the jars to cool completely at room temperature. Once cooled, store them in the refrigerator.

Notes

The source does not specify jar sterilization, a resting period, or the consumption period after opening. The amount of olive oil was converted into nutritional values based on approximately 100 ml for a Turkish tea glass.
