Ingredients
- 1 cup Brewed Coffee (cooled to room temperature; enough to fill an ice cube tray)
- 1 cup Milk (or your preferred milk alternative)
- Sweetener (optional, such as sugar, syrup, or honey to taste)
Steps
- 1
Brew a fresh pot of coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature.
- 2
Carefully pour the cooled coffee into a clean ice cube tray, filling each slot nearly to the top.
- 3
Place the tray in the freezer and freeze until solid, typically at least 4 hours or overnight.
- 4
Once frozen, remove the coffee cubes from the tray and place them into a serving glass.
- 5
Pour your choice of milk over the coffee cubes.
- 6
Add sweetener if desired and stir gently as the cubes begin to melt and flavor the milk.
Notes
You can also freeze leftover coffee from your morning pot to avoid waste. For a stronger latte, use a dark roast or espresso for the cubes.
