Ingredients
- 4 rebanadas Sandwich bread
- Mozzarella (Grated or sliced; a generous amount for the filling, unspecified)
- 50 g Butter (Softened)
- 20 g Granulated sugar
- 20 g Brown sugar
- 25 g Honey
Steps
- 1
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and honey until smooth.
- 2
Place two slices of bread together and spread a generous layer of mozzarella between them to form a sandwich. Repeat with the other two slices and more mozzarella.
- 3
Spread a thick layer of the butter and honey mixture over the outside of each sandwich, coating both sides.
- 4
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.
- 5
Toast the sandwiches in the skillet until the bread is well browned and caramelized and the mozzarella has melted completely. The recipe does not specify an exact time; turn them over to brown both sides.
- 6
Remove the sandwiches from the heat, cut them in half, and serve hot while the cheese is still melted and creamy.
