Ingredients

  • ears of corn (Husked; use a few ears. Microwave before cutting.)
  • neutral oil (For coating the corn)
  • Osmo Everyday Blend (Seasoning blend made with salt, pepper, and garlic)
  • butter (Melted, for finishing)
  • lime juice (For finishing)
  • Tajín (For finishing)

Steps

  1. 1

Husk a few ears of corn and microwave them for 2 minutes, until they are slightly softened.

  2. 2

Cut off both ends of each ear so it can stand upright securely.

  3. 3

Standing each ear upright, carefully cut straight down through the middle by rocking the knife back and forth. Cut the resulting pieces into quarters so they form rib-like sections.

  4. 4

Coat the corn pieces with neutral oil, then sprinkle them with Osmo Everyday Blend, made with salt, pepper, and garlic.

  5. 5

Place the seasoned corn pieces in an air fryer and cook at 400°F for about 12–15 minutes, turning them partway through cooking.

  6. 6

Continue cooking until the corn has curled up and the kernels are nicely blistered.

  7. 7

Finish the corn ribs with melted butter, lime juice, and Tajín. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

The source does not specify the number of ears, quantities of oil or seasonings, or the air-fryer turning time. Use care when cutting the softened corn, as the knife may slip.
