Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian rolls (1 pack; sliced horizontally as a slab)
- 8 slices Genoa salami
- 4 slices Deli turkey
- 12 slices Deli pepperoni
- 6 slices Provolone cheese
- 5 tbsp Butter (melted)
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Parsley
- 0.5 tsp Red pepper flakes (optional)
- 0.333 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar (to taste)
- 0.333 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2.5 cups Romaine lettuce (finely shredded)
- 0.5 cup Banana peppers (chopped; plus 1–2 tablespoons juice for the dressing)
- 0.25 cup Red onion (thinly sliced)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2
Slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls horizontally. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
- 3
Layer the Genoa salami, deli turkey, provolone, and pepperoni evenly over the bottom rolls, in that order. Place the top buns back on.
- 4
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the garlic powder, parsley, and optional red pepper flakes.
- 5
Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
- 6
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
- 7
While the sliders bake, make the topping. In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, 1–2 tablespoons of banana pepper juice, and grated Parmesan. Taste and adjust the dressing.
- 8
Add the shredded romaine, chopped banana peppers, and thinly sliced red onion to the dressing. Toss until evenly coated.
- 9
Remove the sliders from the oven and carefully lift off the top buns. Spoon the grinder topping evenly over the meat and cheese.
- 10
Replace the top buns, slice into 12 sliders, and serve immediately.
Notes
For leftovers, keep the grinder topping separate from the baked sliders to prevent wilting and sogginess. Reheat the sliders and assemble with fresh topping just before serving. Best enjoyed immediately.
