Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 stick unsalted butter (softened)
- 1.5 cup oats
- 0.333 cup milk (Source states ⅓ cup)
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (Reserve a few for topping)
- 1 cup M&M’s (Reserve a few for topping)
Steps
- 1
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
- 2
Add the peanut butter, softened butter, oats, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Mix until the mixture is creamy and fully incorporated; scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- 3
Fold in most of the chocolate chips and M&M’s, reserving a few of both for the topping.
- 4
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm the dip and allow the flavors to develop.
- 5
Spoon the chilled dip into a serving bowl, top with the reserved chocolate chips and M&M’s, and serve chilled.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–5 days. Stir briefly before serving to restore the creamy texture. Do not freeze, as the texture may become grainy. The dip should not remain at room temperature for more than about 2 hours. Crunchy peanut butter may be used instead of creamy. Serve with cookies, pretzels, or fruit.
