Ingredients
- 0.5 cup Watermelon (cut into small pieces)
- 2 Lime (sliced)
- 6 Mint leaves (fresh)
- Ice cubes (a generous amount is recommended)
- 150 ml Sprite (or similar lemon-lime soda)
- Sparkling water (optional, to reduce sweetness)
Steps
- 1
Cut the watermelon into small pieces.
- 2
Place the watermelon pieces along with the lime slices and mint leaves in a glass.
- 3
Muddle the ingredients in the glass with a muddler until the desired consistency for the watermelon is reached.
- 4
Add the ice cubes to the glass.
- 5
Fill the glass with Sprite. If you prefer it not to be too sweet, you can also add a splash of sparkling water.
- 6
Stir gently and serve immediately.
Notes
For a less sweet version, substitute part of the Sprite with sparkling water. The author recommends using more ice than shown in the original video to keep the drink well-chilled.
