Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 bananas (Estimated weight of the edible portion.)
  • 50 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp baking powder (Approximately 12 g.)
  • chocolate chips or pieces (As needed, optional; preferably with no added sugar.)

Steps

  1. 1

Place the eggs, bananas, unsweetened cocoa powder, and baking powder in a bowl.

  2. 2

Mix all the ingredients until smooth and homogeneous.

  3. 3

For a more indulgent result, optionally fold chocolate chips or pieces into the batter.

  4. 4

Pour the batter into a microwave-safe or oven-safe baking dish. If using a larger dish, double or triple the quantities.

  5. 5

Cook in the microwave at full power for approximately 4-5 minutes.

  6. 6

Alternatively, bake in a preheated conventional oven at 180 °C for approximately 20-25 minutes.

  7. 7

Check for doneness with a toothpick, then bring to the table and serve.

Notes

The original recipe indicates 5 minutes in total, but specifies approximately 4-5 minutes in the microwave or 20-25 minutes in the oven. The quantities are intended for a small baking dish; for a larger dish, they should be doubled or tripled. The chocolate chips are optional.
