Ingredients
- 2 Eggs (Hard-boiled and cut into pieces)
- 1 Small shallot (Finely sliced; one comment suggests that a small red onion would also work)
- 1 Tomato (Cut into small pieces)
- Chicken ham (Cut into small pieces; can be replaced with turkey or regular ham)
- 2 tbsp 3% fat quark (Firm)
- 1 tsp Mild mustard
- Salt (To taste)
- Curry powder (A small amount, to taste)
- 1 Whole-wheat wrap
- Iceberg lettuce (For filling the wrap; lettuce of your choice can be used)
Steps
- 1
Cook the two eggs until hard-boiled. Peel them, then cut them into pieces and place them in a bowl.
- 2
Finely slice the shallot and add it to the eggs.
- 3
Cut the tomato into small pieces and add them to the bowl.
- 4
Cut the chicken ham into small pieces and add it. You can replace it with turkey or regular ham.
- 5
Add two generous tbsp of quark, 1 tsp of mild mustard, salt and curry powder to taste.
- 6
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until you have a smooth, creamy filling.
- 7
Lay out the whole-wheat wrap and place the iceberg lettuce, or another lettuce of your choice, on it.
- 8
Gently place the filling on top of the lettuce.
- 9
To fold the wrap, fold the two shorter edges inward, then roll the wrap tightly around the filling, pulling it toward you as you roll.
- 10
Serve immediately.
